Parshall Promoters want you

Parshall Promoters want you
The Parshall Promoters is seeking new members.
The organization, which promotes tourism and civic improvements in and around Parshall, is looking for businesses and individuals who share the group’s goal of a proud and prosperous community.
“Over the past few years Promoters has become more active than ever,” said Promoters Secretary Kristin Jaeger. “Our activities and advertisements are financed with dues so increasing membership is critical for Promoters to continue doing what we do.”
Every membership is important and appreciated, Jaeger said. Membership is open to anyone living, working, or doing business in the Parshall area.
Parshall Promoters is a civic organization aimed at promoting the Parshall area. It holds events throughout the year such as the Community Clean Up in April, Yard of the Week during the summer, Harvestfest in August, the Community Fall Craft & Bake Sale in November, and Bite the Ice on “The Hook” ice fishing tournament and raffle (co-hosted with the New Town Chamber) in February. We also work with area groups like the Three Affiliated Tribes Northeast Segment Board, Parshall Centennial Board, Mountrail County Jobs Development Authority, Parshall High School student organizations, and more.
The group promotes the Parshall area through advertising in various publications and the local media as well as on our website www.parshallnd.com. It also issues “Parshall Big Bucks,” which are redeemable like cash at Promoters member businesses. “Big Bucks” make great gifts or prizes for events. They are issued in $5, $10, or $20 increments and they help our businesses by encouraging local shopping.
