Parshall Elementary renovations planned

The Parshall School Board were given preliminary plans for the elementary school renovations that were included in the bond issue for the construction of the new high school
Trevor Huffaker and Jim Parris of EngTech briefed the board on the status of the high school construction and provided the board with their views on what renovations are needed at the elementary school.
Parris said that construction on the new high school was about eight days behind because of extreme cold and snow storms in February. He explained that hydraulic systems like those in the cranes that are installing the walls of the school should not be operated below a certain temperature. Federal safety standards also limit the length of time workers can be required to work in dangerous cold conditions.
