Dakota Quality Grain of Parshall and New Town is expanding the Cenex C-store in Parshall and adding capacity to its elevators in both communities.
Manager Darrell Stevens said the cooperative is adding warehouse and storage space to the C-Store so it can better handle increased traffic and inventory.
“We’re adding on a little addition so I can have more room to receive merchandise and storage,” Stevens said. “We’re putting a walk in freezer in there so we’ll have more room to store frozen stuff.”
Stevens said the changes would help with the congestion in the store because he would be able to remove some deep freezers and wouldn’t have to keep inventory in the store area.
