Parshall Area Community Foundation awards grants

Members of the Advisory Committee of the Parshall Area Community Foundation (PACF) recently awarded grants to 5 local organizations, including:

Boys & Girls Club of the Three Affiliated Tribes - $2,000 for Diplomas to Degrees, a college readiness, access, and success program

Golden Jet Senior Citizens - $1,100 to assist with repairs to the senior center roof

Parshall Public Library - $1,000 towards the purchase of new books and other items for the library

Parshall Elementary School - $1,000 towards the purchase of a Friendship Bench

Paul Broste Rock Museum - $1,000 to help replace lighting

The Parshall Area Community Foundation is a component of the North Dakota Community Foundation (NDCF), which manages more than $70 million in assets for the benefit of North Dakota citizens and their communities. PACF was established in 2011 as a permanent financial resource for the nonprofit and charitable sector of the Parshall community. The PACF is managed on the local level by a volunteer Advisory Committee, which is responsible for raising money to build the fund and recommending grants on an annual basis.
