New cafe opens in Plaza

There hasn’t been a café in Plaza for awhile. That all changed with the recent opening of the Plaza Café, located in the mini mall on the west side of the park in Plaza. Braulio Contreras and fiancée, Siria Solis, are the new owners.
The couple moved from California to Plaza just over a year ago.
"We were looking for a quiet place to raise a family, invest in a restaurant business and meet great people," Contreras said.
Contreras, who asked that people just call him "Lio" for short, heard about the oil and agricultural industries from some friends who settled in Parshall.
"We did some research about the area and the community and found this very special small town to grow our business," he said.
