A $1,000,000 Powerball ticket for the April 29 night’s draw won by matching five white balls for a New Town resident.
The lucky ticket was sold at Jason’s Super Foods, 975 Eagle Drive, in New Town. Jason’s Super Foods will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning Powerball ticket.
“We were very excited for the winner and very grateful that we got a little bonus too,” said Jason Tracy, owner of Jason’s Super Foods. “We’re not sure what we are going to do with it. We haven’t got the money yet. We haven’t planned anything yet.”
The winning numbers were 2, 20, 49, 61, 67 and the Powerball was 20. The Power Play multiplier was 2.
“We are extremely excited to have been the only lottery to have a Match 5 Powerball winner in last night’s draw, the only lottery out of forty-eight that sell Powerball. If you have the winning ticket, the first thing you should do is sign the back of the ticket,” said Randy Miller, director of the North Dakota Lottery.
