Local company aids in virus fight

North Country Oil employees have been providing extensive decontamination for the city of Parshall and all of the school buildings in town. 
Mark Lagor is the president of North Country Oil and is adamant about protecting the community and people he has come to love. Lagor has several of his company employees decontaminating and cleaning school facilities, both on the inside and outside, along with the storefronts on main street on a bi-weekly basis. The employees use protective clothing and special equipment to clean during the decontamination process. 
“We use a four step process in the decontamination with a safe and non-toxic mixture of Envirowash citrus antibacterial solution, Zep Virucidal Control, and Odaban disinfectant,” said Lagor. “Then we use a four-step process of cleaning surfaces, decontamination of surfaces by a hand and fog machine, sanitizing all surfaces with a sprayer and a fog machine and finally, we do a mechanical dry down. It is a very effective process that will make our community and schools a safer place to be. 
“They did a very thorough job on the school,” said Parshall School Superintendent Shane Sagert. “I am pleased that they are giving back to the community.”
