How does your garden grow?
CTE instructors join efforts to teach gardening skills
Parshall High School career and technical education instructors Julie Woodbury and Ruth Zacher teamed together to educate students about starting flowers, herbs and vegetables from seed. They continued their efforts by teaching students how to transplant the seedlings and get them into the garden. Some students transplanted flowers into pots and will be entering their arrangements in the North Dakota State Fair.
Several flats of plants were donated to Rock View Good Samaritan Center for nursing home week and FFA and FCCLA students have volunteered to plant the nursing home’s garden as soon as it warms up.
