Despite one of the heaviest winter snowpacks in northwestern North Dakota in recent memory, Parshall’s snow removal budget remains in good shape, an official says.
And, as we go into the volatile month of March that could lead to any number of scenarios regarding weather, city auditor Larry Zieman is confident that the city will get through the waning days of winter without a stressed budget.
“Parshall is sitting pretty good regarding snow removal,” Zieman said. “The addition of some new equipment last spring has helped a lot. As far as manpower, we’ve been lucky so far that the guys have been here a number of years and are skilled at what they do.”
