Hall’s victory celebrated by Tribal Council

By Logan J. Davis
Jayln Hall excels in track, cross country, basketball and volleyball, and the Parshall High School junior won the state championship in the 400-meter dash last spring as a sophomore. For that championship achieved in her first year as a sprinter, Hall was honored last Thursday by the Three Affiliated Tribes (TAT) Tribal Business Council who offered their admiration and congratulations for her contributions to her school and the MHA Nation.
With several of her family members and relatives present at the monthly TBC meeting at tribal headquarters, Hall was given an honoring plaque and star quilt from the entire tribal council. They all offered their admiration and praises for one of Parshall’s all-around sports stars.
Jayln credits her abilities and strong desire to win to several factors and mentors. She noted that one of her inspirations is her late uncle, Bruce Hall, who was an outstanding runner in his own right. Jayln is also supported and encouraged by all her family members including her older sister, Cedar Hall.
