Hall meets with president this week
Tribal leaders meeting privately with Obama
President Barack Obama has asked Three Affiated Tribes Chairman Tex Hall, along with 11 other tribal leaders, to meet privately with him. The meetings took place Wednesday and Thursday in Washington, D.C.
Issues Hall was expected to discuss with Obama were energy development, oil and gas, and health care on the Fort Berthold Reservation.
The following day, the president and representatives from the highest levels of his administration were to meet with leaders from the 565 federally recognized tribes from around the country to discuss issues important to the tribal leaders.
