Gold Star father to make “Leap of Faith”

Thanksgiving marked a painful anniversary for Paul Good Iron. On Thanksgiving Day, 2006, his son, Nathan Good Iron was killed in an ambush in Afghanistan. In the six years since Nathan’s passing, Paul has worked to keep his memory alive, publishing a book about his son and attending memorials for those who have died in war.
In February, Paul will be taking another journey on his healing path. This journey will take him to Homestead, Fla.. There Paul will participate in a seminar with other Gold Star families. Gold Star families are those who have lost a family member who died in the service during war time. The culmination of the seminar will be the “Leap of Faith” where family mem
