"I am euphoric I was chosen," Hunter Andes said about being chosen for a trip to Washington, D.C. with other Bismarck State College Student Senators. The trip will happen in March, 2016 during BSC’s Spring Break.
Eligibility for possible selection to the Student Government trip to Washington DC was simple in Andes’ mind.
"All one has to do to go on this trip is fill out an application and then be interviewed by the Student Government Association Advisor, and if selected, you get to go," Andes said. "Ten people applied for this and six are going. We will have meetings at 7 a.m. every Tuesday until the trip to familiarize ourselves with our government. I am very honored to be able to be a part of this experience; I do, however, think that the four that were not chosen to go are way more deserving of this trip than I am. Nonetheless, I am euphoric that I was chosen."
