Flying Farmer soars again

Minutes before John Smith, Makoti’s own Flying Farmer, sped toward the ramp where he hurtled his car over a burning trailer house, tearful family and friends gathered around him for one last chance to hug him and wish him well.
And then he climbed into the front seat of the car, helmet and all, strapped himself in, backed the car that bears his name down the road and with great speed, aimed it at the ramp. Dozens of spectators took a deep breath. The Makoti man flew off the ramp and soared well above the flaming trailer house. The car hit hard on the ground on the other side.
