Fall Fest was great fun
By Logan J. Davis
The Fourth Annual Northeast Segment Fall Fest in Parshall was a great time for people of all ages who gathered to celebrate harvest time. There were also some Halloween fun and games for the children added into the event last Saturday.
The event began at mid-morning with children games with a Halloween theme in the Elders Room at the Parshall/Lucky Mound Veterans Memorial Hall. Before a catered lunch was served at noon, a special ceremony was conducted outside the Veterans Memorial Hall (aka Red Hall). There was also a healing walk around the city where individuals walked in memory of past family members. During the honoring ceremony, many colorful lanterns were released into the air to also honor the memories of loved ones.
