Community Foundations continuing to prosper


Parshall grants top $30,000
The North Dakota Community Foundation (NDCF) has announced that it surpassed $80 million in net assets in 2017. The organization was founded in 1976 to improve the quality of life of North Dakotans through charitable giving and promoting philanthropy.
Some of the community foundations at NDCF in this area of the state are the Tioga Community Foundation, the Stanley Area Community Foundation, the McKenzie County Community Foundation, the Parshall Area Community Foundation and the Williston Area Community Foundation.
The Parshall Area Community Foundation was established in 2011 and has grown its asset base to over $264,000 by the end of 2017. The fund has awarded 21 grants totaling over $30,000 in the last six years.
