Coming together for healing and recovery

The Healing Horse Ranch is the perfect haven for people who love horses, rodeos, and anything equestrian and equine therapy is part of the positive mission that the Healing Horse Ranch works for on a daily basis.
The Healing Horse Ranch staff recently traveled west to team up with a neighboring sister healing center called ‘The Door’ Resource and Recovery Lodge in support of last Thursday’s event held on New Town’s main street.
‘The Door’ Resource and Recovery Lodge hosted and coordinated North Segment’s Sobriety Celebration Course on Thursday that celebrated the first anniversary of ‘The Door’. There were eight stations of the course and the Healing Horse Ranch had dummy steers (header and heeler) for two-person teams to rope. It was a lot of fun for all of the participants and the Healing Horse Ranch station was one of many popular activities for the course participants.
