Bullarama draws a big crowd to Plaza
By Edna Sailor
“The bulls did better than the cowboys,” is how Kelly Abrahamson of Abrahamson Rodeo Company described the recent Bullarama held during the recent 110 year celebration in Plaza.
The Plaza event drew a capacity crowd of approximately 650 people.
“It was a sellout crowd. The bleachers were full, the VIP tent was full and the trailer was full. The Plaza event is one of the best we have done in western North Dakota,” Abrahamson said.
Abrahamson described a Bullarama as the type of event that allows beginners to participate if they like. However, other participants take part as members of the Western Edge Bull Riders Association, a western North Dakota group. Abrahamson Rodeo Company is a part of that group. Other participants and spectators came from all over the country for the event.
