Youth wrestlers host meet

This past weekend, the Trooper youth wrestling team hosted an invitational tournament, and more than 140 wrestlers from around the region turned out.
The response to the tournament put smiles on the faces of organizers, including Trooper Coach Dillon Sprenger.
“This weekend went great,” he said.
The tournament was a success, and went very fast, beginning at 10 a.m., and wrapping up about 1 p.m.
Sprenger said it would have been nice to see more wrestlers, and more were expected to attend, but for a first-time meet, organizers said they were very happy with the turn out.
