Youth golf receives grant

The Minot Youth Golf Association, known for providing support to area youth golf programs, recently granted the Garrison program $2,800 for 2018. In addition to funds, the Minot program also plans to donate golf balls and left-handed clubs.
The Garrison program will use the funding to pay for instruction and other operating expenses.
In addition Tom Fitzgerald, Garrison program coordinator, is hoping with the extra funding they will be able to reach more boys and girls in the 14 to 18 age group. The program perhaps could be in the evening or some other time for youth ages 14-18.
