Warriors take down New Town

NEW TOWN – White Shield’s boys basketball program participated in only one contest this week, but they made sure fans got their money’s worth. Feb. 9 the team traveled to New Town and defeated the Eagles 79-49.
This game was all Warriors from the get go as White Shield’s group jumped out to an 18-8 lead following the first period.
“We came out strong defensively and attacked the basket well,” Warriors Head Coach Shaun Knife said.
Knife’s group didn’t slow down in quarter two adding 19 more points to their total and increasing their lead to 15.
