Troopers stomp the Braves
BY TYSON SMEDSTAD
It was an absolute blow out when the Troopers took on the Braves last Tuesday. Final score was Garrison 88 to Parshall 44.
The boys were on fire taking charge of the game right from the start and holding that lead throughout.
“It was a nice game to get back on track,” Trooper head coach Justin Folk said. “They are a young team rebuilding a bit but we came out and took care of business.”
During the second quarter both Ty Iglehart and Ty Wolken had beautiful breakaway layups resulting in numbers on the board.
Going into half time the score was Garrison 44, Parshall 22.
Much of the same in the second half with the Troop dominating the game.
Every player on the team contributed to the high score by dropping at least eight points. Gage Gehring had an outstanding game with 17 points (five three-point shots, one two-pointer.)
