Troopers split doubleheader against Velva
The Garrison Troopers took on the Velva Aggies in a varsity doubleheader on Sat. Dec. 21.
The first quarter of the girls’ game was dominated by Lady Trooper Cara Schlehr dropping in 10 points, covering half of the total point scored for the quarter.
The second quarter had scoring spread out by Schlehr, Addy Iglehart, Morgan Torr, and Isabella Rime.
Going into halftime, Garrison had a hefty lead of 31 to 10.
Schlehr had another high-scoring third quarter with eight points, and the Troopers overall outscoring the Aggies 13 to 11.
