Troopers set to open baseball season on April 8 at Surrey
The Garrison Troopers Varsity Baseball Team will officially kick off their 2025 season on Monday, April 8, with a road trip to face Surrey High School. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m., and with the long offseason behind them, the Troopers are ready to take the field and put their preseason work to the test.
Head Coach Luke Gehring enters the season with a sense of optimism, fueled by what he’s seen from his players in recent weeks.
“I feel really good about where we’re at heading into the season,” Gehring said. “Our pitching looks strong, and we have a solid foundation defensively. We’ve put in a lot of work in those areas, and it’s showing.”
