Troopers play for championship

In an impressive showing in their first two games at districts bring the Troopers to the Championship round. Garrison defeated Wilton-Wing 47-41.
Tied up after the first quarter at six, the Miners took charge by out scoring the Troop 17 to five in the second.
Head Coach Justin Folk must have lit a fire in the boys during halftime because Garrison came back with big numbers in the third and pulling in 23 points in the fourth.
Another big game for freshman Connor Kerzmann with 14 points, followed by Junior Ty Wolken with 10.
With this win under their belt they moved on to the next night of ball against the Underwood Comets.
Fairly even throughout the game, the Troop was able to seal the win with a big fourth quarter. Finals score was Garrison 46, Underwood 44.
C. Kerzmann was the high scorer against with 17.
