Troopers fall to Aggies

It was a rough game for the Garrison-Max Troopers for their home opener last Friday with a final score of Velva 52, Garrison 8.
Within the first six minutes of the game, Velva ran in their first touchdown.
A few minutes later while the Troopers had possession of the ball, Velva picked off a pass. The next play ended up in an Aggie touchdown and two-point conversion.
With one minute left in the first quarter, Velva was able to score one more touchdown and another two points.
The score after the first quarter was Garrison 0, Velva 24.
Velva opened the second quarter with a quick touchdown 1:30 minutes in. This brought the score to Velva 32, Garrison 0.
