Trooper volleyball team ‘progressing well’

Things are progressing well for the season. So says first-year Garrison-Max volleyball head coach Sarah Lee.
“The girls’ are continuing to push themselves and each other in their performance and in working together in whatever role they are in,” Lee said.
The Troopers are 2-3 on the young season. G-M defeated a young Solen team Sept. 21, 3-0. This past Thursday, the ladies fell to Wilton 3-1, but scores were close for all four games.
“Our serve-reception has improved over our first game of the season, and was clearly evident in our game one win against Wilton,” Lee said.
Although this reception dropped off in game two, Lee said the confidence the girls’ exuded was evidenced in their statistical passing scores overall.
Lee said there’s always room for improvement.
