Trooper girls continue strong

Chalk up two more wins for the Garrison Lady Troopers. The wins came this past Friday and Saturday.
Friday’s game was a key District 10 tilt against previously undefeated Underwood. The Comets held court for most of the game, leading by as many as 10. In the first half, The Troopers’ play was apprehensive. The second half was a different story.
Down 28-20 at intermission, the Troop shaved the deficit to five, 38-33 after three. Then came the fourth quarter. And, oh, what a quarter it was. Garrison got on a roll and outscored the Comets 25-6 to win going away, 58-44. Taylor Kamp led the way with 20. Maddie Jaeger and Ellie Gehring each scored 13.
