Troop starts off season with a ‘W’

The Garrison Trooper boys beat the Surrey Mustangs Saturday night in the season opener for both teams. Winning 66 to 40, the Troopers came out and finished with a bang.
The Troopers went into halftime with a good lead of 40 to 17 on the Mustangs. The Troopers only scored 26 more points in the second half, but were able to keep their lead throughout the game.
Jonah Larson, sophomore, scored 27 on the night for the team. Senior Gabe Holt wasn’t far behind, canning 18.
