In just the second and third outdoor meets of the season, the Garrison-Max track team already has two members punching their ticket for state.
April 21, in Washburn, Trevor Schmidt’s second place finish in 15.92 in the 110m hurdles earned him a spot at state.
Cassidy Huesers, who will be running for Dickinson State this fall, qualified in the 3,200m run with a first place finish in 11:40.98 at Washburn.
She doubled her pleasure, qualifying at Hazen in the 1600m run with a second place finish in 5:30.38.
“She had a great weekend,” said Coach Carrie Magandy.
According to Magandy, a number of personal bests were achieved at the two meets.
