Track team off and running

The track season is underway in North Dakota. The first meets of the season are indoor. Tuesday, March 31, the Troopers opened the season competing at the Northwest Conference Indoor Meet in Minot.
From all indications, the team showed it is ready to take flight.
"It was a great meet," said Coach Anthony Brossart. "A lot of placers."
Cassidy Huesers reeled off a first place finish in the 1600m run and came in second in the 800m run.
Teammate Katherine Fox was fourth in the 800m and second in the 1600m.
Two-time state competitor Ruby White picked up where she left off last year, taking second in the shot put.
Danielle Dimitch claimed a fourth place finish in the 55m dash. She also placed fourth in the 200 m run.
