Titans statebound

Following their dominant performance throughout the course of this year, a season in which they lost only one counter game, Garrison's Legion baseball team were able to add yet another accolade to this season’s trophy cabinet as they took home first place in their District Tournament on July 21. In the regular season, the Garrison Titans fielded an incredibly well rounded team, one that quite effectively displayed it was supported
by strong foundations in all key facets of the game. A strong pitching staff was anchored by standout arms Jack Bright (0.31 ERA, .379 OBP, 2 HR’s) and Bennett Kamp (1.04 ERA and .372 OBP). Without question, anytime a team is able to field two arms who average 1one run or less per nine innings, their pitching staff is doing well. This dominant pitching staff was supported by an offense capable of scoring in bursts.
