Titan's season a wrap

Call it a wrap on the season for the Titans American Legion baseball team. The Titans went 1-2 at last week’s sectional tournament at the all-turf baseball diamond at Bismarck’s Shiloh Christian School.
Advancing to represent the section in this week’s state Class B Legion Tournament are the Hazen Astros.
The Titans opened with a win against Makoti, 17-13, Tuesday, July 19. Later that day, the boys squared off against Hazen, being no-hit in an 18-0 contest.
Last Wednesday, hoping to stay alive, the Titans came up short, losing to Hettinger 8-2.
The season closed out the career of two players, Joey Krzmarzick and Ty Zacharias. Coach Andrew Haugen praised both for their dedication.
