Plans for a co-op between Garrison and Velva for football have advanced to the final step: approval.
Last Wednesday morning, superintendent of schools Dr. Nick Klemisch learned the North Dakota High School Activities Association approved the co-op. Through the co-op, students from Garrison who wish to play football this school year will be able to play with the Velva Aggies.
Aggies coach Larry Sandy held what Klemisch called “a typical coach’s meeting” with players and their parents in the Garrison High School gym Tuesday evening.
