For the last four Tuesdays, Garrison’s golf course has played host to Tom Fitzgerald’s Annual Youth Golf Camp. Fitzgerald started the camp
with his late wife Claire seven years ago when they lived in Washburn and brought the tradition with them when they moved to Garrison. Over four weeks, 43 youth golfers ranging from seven to 13 were given lessons from instructors Robin Rensch, Leann Binde, Luke Wanzek and Anna
German. Both Wanzek and German made the trek from Bismarck weekly to help instruct the young group of future golfers out of nothing but the kindness of their hearts.
