Sectionals begin in Garrison

Garrison’s newly refurbished Titans Field is playing host to the Section 6 American Legion Class B Baseball Tournament.
Action began Wednesday with No. 4 seed Hettinger facing No. 5 seed Burlington. Play began at 10 a.m. At 12:30, No. 2 Stanley faced off against No. 7 Renville County.
At 3, No. 3 Surrey went up against No. 7 Garrison. Day one action concluded at 5:30 with top seed Hazen facing the Hettinger-Burlington winner.
Play continues today (Thursday), and concludes Saturday.
