With North Dakota’s COVID threat level being lifted to green, the schools in the areas are making adjustments once again.
Garrison Schools have decided to stay with the required mask policy, to the dismay of some parents.
“Until they change the quarantine rules … we will continue to wear them during the day,” Garrison Superintendent Nick Klemisch said.
As for spectators at sporting events, once seated in the gymnasium and patrons may remove masks if you choose to.
Garrison will host the Girls District 10 Basketball Tournament next week and capacity in the gym will be no higher than 75 percent.
“For the girls, I don’t think it will be an issue,” Klemisch said.
Max School will no longer require masks during school hours, but they are recommended. The school currently has zero active cases.
They will also not requiring passes to go to basketball games. Max’s capacity is 300 people and rarely exceeds 125.
