Run 4 Robyn Saturday

Runners from across the state will once again be coming to Garrison this weekend. They are coming to participate in this year’s Run 4 Robyn run/walk.
This is the third year for Run 4 Robyn, done to honor Robyn Essler, a Garrison High student and athlete who was tragically killed in a car accident March 22, 2012.
As in previous years, the 5k run/walk will begin at 10:30 a.m. The staging area will be the Ray Field (Trooper football field) track. Check-in and registration will be from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. at the track. Registration forms are available at Chase Pharmacy, Garrison, or on Facebook at Run4Robyn 5K.
So far, more than 90 have registered. Participants can register up until the time the run/walk begins. A limited number of socks with the Run 4 Robyn logo will be available to participants.
The run/walk includes a silent auction from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the high school track. Donations are welcome.
