Rough week for the Cossack boys

Cossacks lost both games to Velva-Drake April 18 at Velva.
Velva had a whopping 15 hits in game one, and was consistent in scoring most innings. It was a deficite that the Cossacks just couldn’t overcome.
Gage Gehring had the sole run in the fourth inning.
The first game in the series ended Aggies 9, Cossacks 1.
In game two, the Cossacks had a bit of a resurgence in the fourth grabbing six runs in one inning, which tied the Aggies total.
Sadly, in the bottom of the fourth Velva-Drake came back and snuck in one more run to bring the final score to Max 6, Velva 7.
