Roberts, Tomlinson teams top Camp of Cross scramble
A couples foursome headed by Zach Roberts of Douglas scored a 10-under 62 to claim top “gross” honors at the annual Camp of the Cross golf tournament played in near-perfect summer weather on Tuesday on the Garrison course. Finishing first in the “net” competition was a couples and father-son team led by young Levi Tomlinson of Max.
A fathers-sons team made up of Bob and Steve Bain of Bismarck and Don and Mike Gackle of Garrison placed second in the gross category with an 8-under 64.
Second place net team consisted of a grandfather-grandsons team headed by Dallas Krause of Hazen with Jared, Tyler and Riley Olson, all of Hazen.
