Racking up the wins
Troopers sweet Nedrose, New Salem-Almont and Surrey

Over the past two weeks, the Garrison Troopers have collected three wins.
The Oct. 12 match against the Nedrose Cardinals was “more competitive than we thought it would be,” said head coach Tina Irish.
“They had a really good defense,” Irish said. “We had to not get comfortable.”
While the Troopers lost the first set in a close 21-25, they soon gained the momentum to pluck the Cardinals, ending the game 3-1.
The following week, on Oct. 19, the Troopers hosted the New Salem-Almont Holsteins.
The team didn’t play as well as they normally do, Irish noted.
