Trooper runners to Dickinson

It’s off to state for the final cross country meet of the season for the Garrison Trooper runners.
Scheduled to represent the Troopers will be Mykle Rud, Shelby Everett, Braden Larson and Jessica Dimitch.
Coach Jason Ermer said he’s looking forward to a good showing from the contingent.
Jessica is recovering from a mid-season injury that curtailed her progress. Ermer said the sophomore has been working hard to get back to race form.
Shelby is really hitting his stride right now, Ermer said. “Times have dropped from low
23 minutes to under 21 minutes at regionals. The coach is excited to see if the junior can crack the 20-minute mark at state.
Mykle has been dropping about 10 seconds a race since the beginning of the season. “Mykle and Shelby run well together,” Ermer said, “pacing and encouraging each
other. They are good teammates.”
