Lady Troopers wrap up home games
The Troopers started the first set strong by taking the lead early, but the Cardinals tied it up five to five. It was well matched throughout the first set up to 17 all. Washburn was able to cinch the set 25-20.
Early in the second set the Cardinals were able to acquire a fairly substantial lead, but the Troopers fought back to tie it up at 8-8. This was a very close set all the way until the end. Washburn ended up taking the set 25-21.
Again, the Cardinals pulled ahead with Garrison answering. Washburn was able to widen its lead mid set. Garrison had a nice run towards the end, but just wasn’t able to catch the Cardinals. Washburn took the set 25-15.
