Lady Troopers take loss at home

The Trooper girls took a difficult loss at home Monday, facing off against the Hornets in varsity action.
Garrison struggled to make it home during the game, going the first two innings without a run. In the meantime, Harvey/Wells County ran up the scoreboard with a run in the first and eight more in the third, taking a heavy lead and putting distance between the teams.
The Troopers broke open the scoreboard with their first run of the game at the bottom of the third.
Harvey/Wells County continued its domination with another eight runs in the fourth, and closed the game with a final two in the fifth. The game was called at the top of the fifth, 1-19 Hornets.
