Lady golfers poised for regions

The regional tournament season in high school sports is here.
Today (Thursday) the Lady Troopers will be put to the test as they try to qualify for state at their regional tournament. The event is in Rugby.
As is standard practice each year, teams are able to familiarize themselves with the regoual tournament course, golfing an individual qualifier. This year, the regional meet is in Rugby.
Coach Liz Schieler said Monday, the girls went to Rugby for their second individual qualifier and again the field was shut-out.
Elizabeth Blessum from Rugby took 1st with a 91. Second place via tie breaker went to Madison Nadeau from Dunseith with a 101. Emily Giffey claimed third for the Troopers also with a 101.
