Lady golfers poised for qualifiers
On Monday, the Lady Troopers golf team headed to Rolla to test their skills at Northern Lights’ very challenging home course.
Winning the meet was Jocelyn Braunberger of Northern Lights with a 96. Breanna Deaver from Rugby claimed second with a 105 followed by Gabby Wilkie from Northern Lights at 106 rounding out the top three.
For the Troopers, Ally Behles had a season low of 120, while Courtney Ruhland shot a 127 and McKenzie Ruhland had a 131. On the team side of things, Northern Lights dominated shooting an impressive 429 while Rugby took 2nd with a 472.
Friday, the Troopers once again headed north, this time to Dunseith. Northern Lights again claimed the top team spot shooting a 428, leaving Dunseith in 2nd with a 461.
