Lady Cardinals take close win over Garrison
The Lady Cardinals took the W over Garrison during a doubleheader where the girls and boys team traveled across the country to play rivals.
Leading the games was girls basketball, where Washburn defeated Garrison in a close 41-38 game.
Coming out of the gate, Washburn hit the court hard, staying ahead in the points during the first quarter where the Lady Cardinals scored 12 points to the Lady Trooper’s 7. However, Garrison fought during the second quarter to outdo the Cardinals, taking the lead going into halftime with a score of 22-21.
