In the swing of things

Instead of puttering around the house this summer, a number of area youth got in the swing of things, participating in what has become an annual activity, the summer golf program.
Coordinating the effort is Tom and Claire Fitzgerald of Garrison. A bonus this year included experienced golf instructors from the North Dakota Golf Association, made possible through a grant.
This is the third year of the program, and attendance continues to grow.
"It’s been well received," said Tom Fitzgerald.
