Huesers signs with Dickinson
Cassidy Huesers, a senior at Max High School, will join the Dickinson State Blue Hawk Women’s Cross Country team this fall. Huesers signed a letter of intent last week.
“I love the location and DSU offers everything that I am interested in,” Cassidy said in a DSU release.
Cassidy is a 4x NDHSAA Class B State Cross Country Championships Qualifier, 2x NDHSAA Class B All-Region Cross Country Team Selection, qualified as a junior for the 2016 NDHSAA Class B State Track Meet in the 1600 and 3200 run and her Highest finish of 22nd place at the 2016 NDHSAA Class B State Cross Country Championships in 20:37.
She is a member of the National Honor Society and Honor Roll Student with 3.5 GPA and a member of Varsity Basketball Team at Max High School.
Cassidy plans to major in Biology at Dickinson State University and she is the daughter of Marlo and Paula Huesers.
Her personal records are 5k (XC)- 20:16, 4k (XC)- 15:52, 800- 2:26, 1600- 5:25 and 3200- 12:07.
