Hoops, X-country awards presented

Athletes in three extracurricular activities were recognized for their commitments to their sport Monday during the Garrison Troopers Winter Sports Banquet.
Awards were presented in cross-country, boys’’ basketball and girls’ basketball by their respective coaches. Presenting in cross-country were coaches Bill Melaas and Joe Price; boys’ basketball presenters were Jason Mattheis and Cory Volk; girls’ basketball presenters were coaches Sandra Essler and Loni Hall.
Their respective coaches recognized junior high athletes, staff and statisticians. The event was at the Bob Callies Elementary Multi-purpose room.
